FACILITIES

Classes will be held at Fort Mason in San Francisco. All students will be notified of the classroom number long before the day of class. If a student forgets what classroom to go to, Fort Mason has several boards around the facilities with a list of the ongoing evens and the room where they're meeting. Fort Mason has security guards walking the premises at all times. It is not an unsafe area, of course we recommend the use of common sense. If you witness any suspicious activity let the instructor know right away.

Because the rooms are used by a number of different organizations and groups, we are responsible for leaving the room in the same condition in which we found it. Students will be responsible for any damage they may cause to the facilities.

CONTACTING THE INSTRUCTOR

At your first class, you will be given a contact number to contact the instructor during the session.

ENROLLMENT AND AUDITING OF CLASSES

No student may attend a class without a
Letter Of Agreement For Enrollment signed by Javier Galitó-Cava or an Actors Anonymous member. Terms and conditions of enrollment are stipulated in this document. Auditing of classes is not allowed however, if you wish, we can provide you with phone numbers for previous students who can tell you of their experience.

SPACE FOR REHEARSAL AND OUT-OF-CLASS WORK

At this time Javier Galitó-Cava and/or Actors Anonymous is not offering space for rehearsal and/or out-of-class work. Each student is responsible to find their own space for such work. Most students simply use their own homes.

SATISFACTORY PROGRESS

In order to complete course work, students must complete each workshop in a satisfactory manner. Indications of unsatisfactory progress may include irregular attendance, lack of commitment, and poor understanding of the training process. An invitation to future workshops, classes and the possibility to become involved with Actors Anonymous Theatre Company will directly depend on the student's progress in class.

Rehearsals and out-of-class work is instrumental to he course. A student who has not attended rehearsal or has not done the proper out-of-class work will not be allowed to work in class and priority will be given to those who have.

Attendance

You are expected to attend ALL scheduled classes and scheduled rehearsals with scene partners. Roll will be taken each class. Absences are recorded and will influence the student's chance to finish the workshop and/or be invited to future events. Two absences, whether or not they're warranted, are reason for dismissal. Students are responsible for knowing the attendance rules. Students are also responsible for informing the instructor and any scene partners of possible absences.

Tardiness is not permitted under any circumstances. All students MUST be present and ready to start work by the time class is scheduled to begin. If a student is late he/she will find the door locked and may not be able to enter the class until break time. Two late arrivals are considered equal to an absence from class and will be recorded as such.
